Bench Elementary

Bench Elementary is a Kindergarten to Grade 7 school located in beautiful Cowichan Bay. For the 2026/27 school year, our school is home to 380 students distributed in 17 classrooms. Bench holds a long and proud history in South Cowichan and is located on the unceded traditional lands of the Quw’utsun people, specifically near the village of Tl’ulpalus. We are grateful to learn, work, and play on this land, surrounded by natural beauty and significance. The school grounds sit near several remarkable natural landmarks, including Cowichan Bay Nature Estuary, Cherry Point Beach, and Cobble Hill Mountain.
